Day Nine Delusions

So, I was doing good with my POAS (peeing on a stick) obsession UNTIL my husband had to ask this morning, "so, when can you test?" This, after giving me a double portion of dinner last night and rubbing my stomach saying "you have to eat up...I can be hopeful until I learn otherwise."

Needless to say, I didn't need this false encouragement. Oh sure, he means well. But, he knows not what obsessive pot he is stirring. So, well after my FMU (first morning urine), I tested and swore I saw not a line, you all, but a SHADOW of a line. Yes, if you turn your head at just the right angle and if you can spread a cloud of pink before your eyes, you might recognize a shadow on the HPT I took this morning. Of course, I can't count it as good news. Not a mere shadow. It could be an evaporation shadow, etc. But, I'll take it as a sliver of hope for today.

Of course, since this HPT is the cheap internet "aimstick" brand, I might just have to invest in a more recognized, quality HPT today and see what happens in the morning. I just hate all this waiting and guessing and hoping...

Ok, it's 9am for us. Did you pee again? *crossing fingers*

No exciting news today. I am pretty sure what I am seeing is evaporation shadows. But, I still want to hope that it is too early.

Thanks so much for asking!
