My best Hen Friend (currently 33 wks along with TWINS!) wisely put many different variations of teethers on her baby gift registry. My godson demonstrates the wisdom in this choice...
I bought the teether for him when he was born. It sat in the fridge til he was about four months old. At that time, he liked to grab it and wave it around and feel the cold texture. Two months later, he was able to get it to his mouth and gnaw on it a bit while drooling it to death. Two months after that, well, you can see that he lets it just dangle from his mouth like a well smoked cigar. With two small teeth now residing in the front of his mouth, my teether has gotten quite a workout when he visits.
I look forward to the drool days of summer...
