My lovely sister sweating it out at my niece's soccer game. Another manifestation of a mother's love--sitting in 95 degree heat, 110% humidity with a dainty umbrella for shade, and still managing to SMILE.
I had my check-in with Dr. Nerdy Professor yesterday. Our boy is estimated to be 6.6lbs! Holy whopping baby, batman. If he is that much at 34w5d then what will he be if he goes full term? Of course, the ultrasound mesaurements can be off at this stage, but I am glad he is looking well.
Gabe's first report card of sorts:
Fetal body movements: normal (2)
Fetal tone: normal (2)
Fetal breathing movements: normal (2)
Amniotic fluid volume: normal (2)
Score: 8/8
Growth percentile: 73% [36w2d]
YAY for good news!
I also had a pseudo-interview for a teaching post at my alma mater. I am hoping things will look positive for some sort of teaching assignment next Fall. It was nice to return to my old stomping ground and to chat with one of my professors from eight years ago.
Heading towards 35 weeks and feeling pretty good. What a long journey this pregnancy thing can be!
