You are two months old already! My how time flies when you are having fun. And, you are so much fun my precious son.
As I type this you are sleeping soundly in your big boy crib. You have already moved out of your pack-n-play bed to the big crib. It was a smooth transition and you seem to like your crib. You still wake during the night to eat, but the stretches of sleep are getting longer. While Mommy looks forward to a full night's sleep, I will miss those quiet, sacred moments of snuggling next to you as you eat.

You are becoming quite alert and love to look around the house. You have also begun your 'social smiling,' and though the smiles are infrequent, they keep us going. The last few days we have started to play the "stick out your tongue" game and you love that. You mimic your father and I by hanging out that little tongue and throwing in some coos along the way. One day, you'll be a darn fine conversationalist if this is any indicator.
Your first Christmas is just around the corner. Mommy enjoyed getting you a stocking and hanging it above the fireplace. You have brought so much joy to our lives in these two months; you are definitely our best Christmas gift ever. I want to give you the world and all the happiness that life brings. I pray everyday to be a good Mommy and to help you grow into the person you are meant to be.
Needless to say, I look forward to the days ahead. You are such a good baby and every day I get to know you better. I dream of all the fun things we will do together and feel so blessed to have such brazen hope on the horizon.
Happy two months, my precious son.
Love,
Mommy
