Lil piggers is living up to his name. He turned six weeks old and as of two days ago he weighed 12lbs, 3ozs. He is gaining about a pound a week and seems to be in a growth spurt now.
Every day he gets bigger and I marvel at how fast it is all going. How can he be six weeks old already? I see smiles emerging slowly and they delight my heart; today, he even seemed to recognize me as someone special while his Cousin Tara was holding him.
Our holidays will be very rich this year. Santa finally brought me my wish...

Aaawwww what a smile. And you caught it with your camera, lucky gal. I'm still trying but it's tricky. Whenever I pull out the camera, it seems Sam pulls out his best 'serious' face. I think he just finds it interesting.
Of course Gabe - I mean lil piggers - knows you're special! This is the "I only have eyes for you" stage. Isn't it wonderful? Enjoy while he adores you, it's such a great warm feeling inside. You are his special mama!
