I take none of this for granted. Gabriel reminds me of my gratitude every day. I worried about every aspect of his health during pregnancy. I worried whether or not he had two hands and two feet, ten fingers, ten toes, etc. I worried whether or not he had spina bifida after the positive result on the triple screen test. Now, when I see him admiring the wondrous handiwork of mother nature, I am filled with gratitude for this blessed, healthy child.
I learn so much from Gabriel. His joy is infectious and the simple things in life are marvelous. Just tonight, he kicked his feet and legs and adoringly gazed at that regal right hand. Life is simple and sweet; thanks be to God.

Oh my gosh that's perfect! He looks JUST like Sam did a few weeks ago.
Transfixed!
Isn't it fun trying to imagine what must be going on inside the minds of babes when they make these awesome discoveries?
No doubt there, he's found that hand and it's never getting away now!
