Obesity relinquished...

Busy, busy day. I saw my new doctor, also Gabe's doctor, and she is a total winner. She was attentive, sympathetic, and best of all she declared me a normal weight. I still have miles to go before I sleep in that regard, but it was a very positive check-in. She was happy that we are going to try for another baby and seemed genuinely interested in my care. What a novelty these days.
Hubby has been an absolute darling. I have been so excited about my photography class and playing around with my camera. I woke up this morning to find that he had ordered the flash that I had mentioned wanting, along with some groovy filters. Then, after I got home from my busy day out and about, there was a new subscription to a photography magazine sitting in my mailbox. He is such a darling with such a huge heart. On my best day, I am nowhere as generous and humble in spirit as he is. It is mind boggling. That's not to say that he doesn't drive me bonkers sometimes, but, honey, if you're reading this...I'd marry you a third time if you asked! (Private joke: we eloped and were married, then had a more traditional ceremony six months later).

So, the way to this woman's heart is not in diamonds or flowers or even chocolate. It's in lenses and flashes...go figure.

Meanwhile, we better get with it on doing our family portrait shoot. I have to find a suitable day with no rain, adequate sun, but not too much, and a happy baby to tote along. This will be a fitting challenge.

Much on the horizon: a good feeling all around. Now, off to put very tired baby who is fighting sleep to bed...
