Busy Bee

My little boy is turning into quite the busy bee. He loves to play with his toys and is readily exploring the world. With that excitement comes his desire to skip naps altogether which often wears on his normally good disposition. Like today--no naps until recently this evening.

I am not looking forward to his fourth month checkup tomorrow. I like his doctor a lot and I like having him weighed and measured. BUT, I hate the shots for my wee one. As I changed his diapers today, I gazed lovingly at his chubby hams and winced at the anticipated pain they will experience tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I am still toying with my photos and the digital editing experience. Hubby and I have upgraded our computer monitors and we are excited about their arrival this week. We still have the big, heavy, space hogging CRT monitors. We have two flat panel, "skinny" monitors on the way. Cool stuff. I am a total technology geek.

Hubby just got home from an antiques show that was showcased locally this weekend. I went with Gabe and browsed the goodies. I lusted after a nice amber jewelry set, costume mainly, and hubby just came home and surprised me with it. That, in addition to my bubble bath goodies he gave me yesterday, makes for a wonderful anniversary gift!

Well, my formerly slumbering baby is now wide awake...ciao.
