I pray every day that he will know a zest for life. I pray he will find things that he is good at and can be passionate about. I pray that he will run out of time each day doing things he loves rather than viewing life as how to simply measure or waste time. So many hopes wrapped up in this boy, my angel.
Meanwhile, I am trying to practice a little carpe diem myself. This time of year is hard but also rich. Hubby and I are coming up on our fourth anniversary and we have a special night planned for this Friday night. Grandpa is going to stay with Gabe while hubby and I enjoy a dinner cruise on Mobile Bay. Our first fancy date was a dinner cruise on the Potomac, so I hope this can rival our fond memories of that time.
And, Valentine's Day tomorrow. I can't wait to cuddle with my men and slather smooches on my newest little cuddle bug on his first Valentine's day...

What an adorable, brilliant young man. I'm sure he gets it from his Nana. LOL
I can just imagine you two having a wonderful time on your outing.
Enjoy!
