Photoshop fun...

I am totally engrossed in all things photography these days. I joined a pro site (www.pro4um.com) and am learning tons from the folks there. I was dubious about the cost, but it has already proved its worth many times over. There are photoshop actions to download and all sorts of information on running a business, etc. Tons of top notch inspiration too.

So, hubby and I are thinking of adding on to our home so I can have a studio. It will probably take the form of a 20'x25' sun room addition. I am very excited about it. That way, if things don't work out, we have have the money invested in our home and can ebay the equipment. I have to have fall out plans, ya know.

Speaking of fall outs, our dear, local Dr. Inferitlity got sick a while back. I got a funny feeling about it as the nurse started putting us off (I got to the doorstep of a saline sono and then got postponed). Well, poor Dr. Infertility has cancer, lung cancer to be exact. He has been whisked off to some clinic in the mid-west for treatment. So, my prayers are with him and his family, first and foremost. Second, my baby-making plans at the local level are postponed (so, yes, I quit taking the PILL a while back when I got a sneaking suspicion that something was awry.) My body is getting back to its post-post-partum state which means I am still occasionally grumpy, still have night sweats, and still losing more hair than I want. However, I have to admit that a good hair cut helped the latter a great deal.

Meanwhile, the light of my life is growing and changing every day. He laughs at us now and we eat it up. He is a true joy and the inspiration behind my love of photography. My Gabriel will always be my chief muse...
