Back in Gear

Okay, so I think I have all the proper channels back in order communicating with one another. The intestines appear to have come off strike and are acutally processing my food. My ovaries have piped down and aren't yakking at me with every step I take. Life is almost good.

I suppose it got a little better today when someone, who knows that I am TTC, gave me that magical look and said "you look different." I wasn't sure if that meant "you look like crap," or maybe "you look bloated and tired," or "you have that special pregnancy glow." I doubt it is the latter, though that is what she meant. I mean, I'd have to have super embryo to have done its attaching to the uterine wall by now and be producing noticeable effects. But, it was nice to pretend for a bit.

Meanwhile, my husband sits by patiently, waiting for the day I bust open the GIGANTIC jar of pickles that he bought for me during my last pregnancy. When he sees that happen, he'll be smiling ear to ear...
