Every night I put my hand under the covers and wriggle my fingers here and there and EVERY NIGHT she pounces on them and plays "mouse under the covers" with kitten-like enthusiasm. She even manages to look surprised when she doesn't find a mouse under the covers. Of course, it ain't as cute at 5am when she pounces on my toes...but, that's life in Patches' house!

This is my first cat in my whole life and she's got me hook, line and sinker. She is so incredibly attuned to our household rhythm and she never misses a beat. I'm determined, should reincarnation turn out to be a credible theory, to come back as a cat!
